1. Acceptance of Terms

3. Service Appointments

3.1 Scheduling

Service appointments can be scheduled through our website, by phone, or via email. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time, but all appointments are subject to technician availability.

3.2 Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. For cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, we may charge a cancellation fee of up to $50 to cover administrative costs and lost time.

3.3 Late Arrivals

Our technicians strive to arrive within the scheduled appointment window. However, due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, traffic, or previous service overruns, arrival times may vary. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if we expect a delay.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Service Estimates

Before performing any work, our technicians will provide an estimate of the cost. This estimate is based on our standard rates and an assessment of the work required. Actual costs may vary if additional issues are discovered during the repair process or if the scope of work changes.

4.2 Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance. We accept various payment methods, including major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers.

4.3 Taxes

All prices are subject to applicable federal and provincial taxes.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

5.1 Workmanship Guarantee

We guarantee our workmanship for 90 days from the date of service. If an issue arises with our repair work within this period, we will return to address the problem at no additional cost to you.

5.2 Parts and Materials

Parts and materials installed by our technicians are covered by manufacturers' warranties where applicable. These warranties vary by product and manufacturer.

5.3 Limitations

Our guarantees do not cover damages or issues caused by:

• Normal wear and tear
• Misuse or abuse of the repaired item
• Alterations made by anyone other than our technicians
• Acts of nature, including floods, fires, earthquakes, etc.
• Pre-existing conditions not addressed in the original repair

6. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate information about the repair needs
• Ensuring safe access to the area requiring service
• Securing pets and removing valuable or fragile items from the work area
• Being present for the appointment or designating a responsible adult representative
• Reviewing and approving any changes to the original scope of work

7. Website Use

7.1 Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of CanadaRepairs or our content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws.

7.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our website:

• In any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• To transmit or procure the sending of any advertising or promotional material without our consent
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate CanadaRepairs or any of our employees or representatives

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CanadaRepairs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use our website or services
• Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
• Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our website
• Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our website

Our total liability for all claims related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the services in question.

If mediation is unsuccessful, the parties agree to submit to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act of Ontario.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
